Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (flexibility for the right candidate)
Hours: 40 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Design Engineer to join our dynamic and collaborative team based in Bradford. This is an exciting opportunity to work on industry-leading projects within a business that values innovation, teamwork, and professional development.
You will play a key role in the design and development of fabrication solutions, working closely with fabricators, site installers, and project teams to deliver high-quality engineering designs. The successful candidate will have strong fabrication design experience, excellent communication skills, and a practical understanding of permanent access fabrications, pipework systems, and associated support structures.
Key Responsibilities- Produce detailed fabrication designs and engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
- Design permanent access fabrications in accordance with WIMES 9.02 standards.
- Develop pipework, fittings, and associated support designs.
- Liaise with fabricators, site installation teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure designs are practical, compliant, and cost-effective.
- Support projects from concept through to manufacture and installation.
- Ensure designs meet relevant industry standards, specifications, and health and safety requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.
- Proven experience in fabrication design engineering.
- Strong proficiency with Autodesk Inventor
. - Knowledge of pipework, fittings, and associated support design
. - Experience designing permanent access fabrications
, including knowledge of WIMES 9.02
. - Experience working closely with fabricators and site installation teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to commute to Bradford and work on a hybrid basis.
- Experience using Solid Works
. - Additional experience within the water, utilities, or industrial engineering sectors.
