Structural Technician​/Senior Structural Technician

Think Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Structural Technician or Senior Structural Technician to work for our client, a growing consultancy with a progressive culture, based in Sheffield with remote working options.

Who we are looking for

• Eng Tech MICE chartered or working towards chartership with a view to sitting professional exam/interview in the near future
• Minimum 2 years' experience, ideally in a multi-disciplinary consultancy environment
• Experience producing detailed structural drawing packs suitable for various project stages from concept design to construction
• Ability to produce accurate model geometry using Revit from which drawing content is produced. This is essential
• AutoCAD experience - sparingly used however still necessary from time to time
• Ability to work to projects standards including BEP's and EIR's
• Experience working across a variety of sectors
• Experience collaborating closely with engineers, clients and design teams to ensure coordinated and efficient design solutions
• Assist in the development and maintenance of BIM standards and workflows
• Experience delivering projects in reinforced concrete and steel
• Experience in refurbishment/remodelling of existing structures
• Willingness to mentor and impart knowledge to junior team members
