Aboutthe Role About You
- Acting as lead Process Engineer to ensure the design of projects in an efficient, safe and compliant manner
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of complex design projects
- Helping prepare process design deliverables to the required standard, within budget and on time
- Undertaking process calculations and process modelling
- Developing PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications and process descriptions
- Mentoring and support for less experienced colleagues
- Reviewing and approving design work undertaken by others
- Obtaining and reviewing supplier quotations, management of competitive tendering processes
- Ensuring the use of suitable design methods, standards and data as required by legislation and/or client requirements
- Business development, proposal preparation and budgeting
- Lead complex design projects within high-hazard industries, both technically and administratively
- Manage project delivery, ensuring effective coordination and oversight
- Apply expertise across a broad range of sectors, including food and drink, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries
- Support a diverse client base with varying project requirements
- Bring experience from multiple industries to enhance project outcomes and consultancy services
- Experience with in the distilling sector desirable and viewed favourably
- Hold an Honours or Masters degree in Chemical or Process Engineering, or a related discipline
- Possess a full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
- Professional chartership(s) desirable and viewed favourably
- Both office and home working options will be available
