Water Treatment Plant Operator

Join our team as a Water Treatment Plant Operator, where you'll use advanced technology while ensuring environmental protection. This rotating shift position operates on a fly-in/fly-out basis across Canada.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for the effective operation of an industrial water treatment facility. You’ll work alongside a team to monitor and maintain equipment, conduct crucial water quality tests, and respond swiftly to any alarms. Documenting processes and maintaining safety regulations will be crucial for ensuring compliance within a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate water treatment equipment and systems

• Conduct regular testing of water quality samples

• Address alarms and perform troubleshooting

• Maintain detailed records of treatment processes

• Conduct routine maintenance and housekeeping

Requirements:

• Secondary education or equivalent qualification

• Minimum two years’ experience in water treatment

• EOCP certification preferred for candidates

• Valid class 5 driver's license with abstract

• Ability to travel for remote work assignments
