Product Development Manager

Location: Nieuw-Lekkerland

Royal IHC is looking for a Product Development Manager within the Technology & Innovation department. In this role, you lead the development of strategic products from concept and business case through validation and implementation in the first commercial projects. Working closely with Product Owners, Engineering, Technology specialists and business stakeholders, you provide structure, governance and leadership throughout the product development lifecycle.

You are responsible for planning, budget, scope, risks, stakeholder alignment and decision-making, ensuring products are delivered successfully and contribute to IHC’s strategic objectives. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and drive products that support multiple Product Market Groups, ranging from Offshore and Defence applications to other innovative technologies across the IHC portfolio.

Your responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary product development teams

Manage scope, planning, budgets, risks and resources

Guide projects through stage-gate processes and governance structures

Align technical, commercial and operational stakeholders

Support prototype development, testing and validation

Report progress and key decisions to management and steering groups

Contribute to continuous improvement of product development processes

Your profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field

At least three years of relevant experience in product development, engineering projects or technology development

Experience leading multidisciplinary teams

Strong stakeholder management, organisational and communication skills

Structured, pragmatic and results-oriented

Fluent in English;
Dutch is a plus

Experience with in maritime, offshore, defence, aerospace, automotive or other complex engineering environments is advantageous

A salary between €5700 and €8565 gross per month, plus 8% holiday allowance
