The Role As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of sophisticated electro-mechanical and software-driven automation equipment at customer sites across the South East. Working from home and managing your own diary, you'll become a trusted technical expert for customers, ensuring equipment performance is maximised and downtime is minimised. This is a regional role with limited overnight stays required.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, commission and maintain automated equipment at customer sites Diagnose and resolve electro-mechanical, electrical and software related faults Carry out preventative maintenance and service visits Provide technical support and advice to customers Identify opportunities for upgrades, enhancements and additional services About You
- Skills & Experiences:
Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Service Technican Strong electro-mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills Experience working with automated equipment, machinery or industrial systems Full UK driving licence Excellent customer facing and communication skills Desirable
