This pivotal position focuses on supporting renewable developers and utilities through comprehensive power system modeling.
Your role will include performing studies per NERC standards, collaborating with a global team, and engaging with key stakeholders like ISO/RTO and IEEE. High-level problem-solving and analytical skills will be essential as you guide projects from proposal through execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement internal power system studies including harmonics and TOV
• Conduct compliance-oriented external interconnection studies
• Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders
• Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget constraints
• Participate in technical forums and committees
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
• 4+ years experience with utility-scale renewable projects
• Experience with analytical tools such as PSS/E or ETAP
• Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and CIGRE industry standards
• Readiness to travel across North America
