GBT Solutions is seeking a Senior RAN Optimization Engineer to support global telecom projects focused on LTE and 5G performance and optimization. This role is critical in driving network efficiency, KPI improvements, and next‑generation wireless technology evolution.

As a Senior RAN Optimization Engineer, you will work on complex mobile network optimization initiatives across multiple technologies including 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G  will be responsible for analyzing network performance, tuning parameters, and implementing advanced optimization strategies to enhance service quality and capacity. The role requires deep expertise in radio access network behavior, KPI analysis, and optimization tools, along with close collaboration with international teams.

• Perform end‑to‑end RAN optimization across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks
• Analyze KPIs and network performance to identify areas for improvement
• Optimize radio parameters, mobility, and resource management settings
• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network performance issues
• Support capacity planning and traffic management strategies
• Utilize optimization tools such as ATOLL, TEMS Discovery, Net Act, and U2020
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and international teams to drive network improvements

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in telecommunications and radio networks
• Strong knowledge of 2G / 3G / LTE / 5G  and 3
  
  GPP standards
• Proven experience in RAN optimization, RF tuning, and performance management
• Deep understanding of RAN KPIs, network parameters, and performance analysis
• Hands‑on experience with LTE and 5G optimization and capacity planning
• Proficiency in optimization tools such as ATOLL, TEMS Discovery, Net Act, and U2020
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

• Additional language proficiency in French or Spanish
• Experience in multi‑vendor RAN environments
• Exposure to 5G advanced features and network evolution strategies
• Knowledge of automation or scripting for optimization tasks
