Electrical EIT

Position: CIMA+ Electrical EIT - Hybrid Role
Join CIMA+ as an Electrical EIT, working on innovative building projects from the Edmonton Office. This hybrid role emphasizes collaboration on electrical design across multiple sectors.

We are looking for an Electrical EIT with a university degree and 2-3 years of experience to join our growing buildings team. You'll have the chance to work alongside a senior engineer, designed cutting-edge electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and healthcare projects. This position offers excellent support for professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and model electrical systems including fire alarms

• Engage with engineers for design integration

• Ensure coordination between building disciplines

• Perform design calculations with guidance

• Attend site visits to analyze site conditions

Requirements:

• Electrical engineering degree with 2-3 years experience

• Must be eligible for EGBC registration as an EIT

• Familiar with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools

• Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication
