Position: Remote Interconnection Expert at Ramboll
Ramboll seeks a Remote Interconnection Expert specializing in power system regulations and technical interconnections. Thrive in this pivotal role focusing on diverse renewable energy projects.

As an Interconnection Expert, you'll advise clients navigating generator interconnection processes within major ISO/RTO markets. Leverage your expertise in regulatory compliance and power systems engineering to guide clients successfully through complex interconnection frameworks. Collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to innovative solutions across various renewable energy sectors, including offshore wind and large-scale solar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead advisor on interconnection strategies for renewable energy clients

• Interpret ISO/RTO tariffs and interconnection procedures for client guidance

• Review interconnection feasibility and system impact studies

• Manage client and ISO communication during the interconnection queue process

• Support agreement negotiations leveraging technical and commercial insights

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Minimum 5 years of ISO/RTO interconnection experience

• Proficient in applying ISO tariffs and FERC orders

• Strong communication skills for technical issues

• Familiarity with FERC Order 2023 and interconnection reform
