Introduction
We are looking for a full-time Senior Process Engineer to join either our Saskatoon, Regina, or Calgary team. This position will report to the Director, Mining & Minerals. Indigenous applicants are encouraged to apply.

The Senior Process Engineer provides advanced technical expertise in process design, evaluation, and optimization for industrial projects across the mining, minerals, uranium, and precious metals sectors. This role leads process engineering activities, supports multidisciplinary project teams, ensures regulatory and safety compliance, and contributes to the successful delivery of high‑quality engineering solutions for March Consulting’s clients.

March provides engineering, procurement, project, and construction management services to a variety of resource‑based industrial and commercial enterprises. Position Overview
Primary Responsibilities

Conduct economic and technical feasibility studies in areas related to chemical, mining, petroleum, uranium, or other precious metal processing industries.

Conduct research into the development or improvement of chemical engineering processes, reactions, and materials.

Evaluate chemical process technology and equipment and determine production specifications.

Design and test chemical processing and associated plants and equipment, including systems for uranium and precious metal extraction, concentration, and refining.

Oversee the construction, modification, operation, and maintenance of pilot plants, processing units, or processing plants.

Establish and conduct quality control programs, operating procedures, and control strategies to ensure consistency and adherence to standards for raw materials, products, and waste products or emissions.

Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for the process aspects of industrial construction.

Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers.

May work in an administrative capacity, for example, in the development of guidelines and specifications for the handling of dangerous chemicals, uranium‑bearing materials, environmental protection, or standards for foods, materials, and consumer goods.

Maintain efficient interdisciplinary and client communication.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or in a related engineering discipline is required.

Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a Canadian provincial association of professional engineers is required.

A master's degree or doctorate in a related engineering discipline would be an asset.

Compensation
Commensurate with education and experience.

Work hours
40 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

Work location
Saskatoon, Regina, or Calgary. Remote work options will be considered for out‑of‑province candidates.
