WhatWe’re Looking For
We are seeking a driven and detail‑oriented workshop Post Order Specialist to visit the manufacturers and take full ownership of delivery performance within a fast‑paced EPC environment. The role is responsible for ensuring that vendors meet contractual commitments from Purchase Order signature through final delivery, proactively mitigating risks, and coordinating internally to maintain schedule integrity. This position plays a key role in supporting project execution and ensuring the timely availability of equipment, materials, and documentation.
MainResponsibilities
- Follow up and ensure that the Vendors allocate the necessary resources for the successful execution of the Purchase Order, from signature to delivery of equipment, materials, and documentation at site.
- Monitor the Vendors’ progress at their workshops to assure compliance with contractual delivery dates.
- Proactively inform the Project team of risks and propose corrective actions.
- Update progress in the Company ERP system.
- Carry out expediting visits at Vendors’ manufacturing facilities.
- Review Vendor Progress Reports (VPR).
- Ensure timely issuance of VPRs.
- Monitor critical documents, suborders, materials and manufacturing progress.
- Verify suborders are placed on time.
- Check receipt of key materials.
- Review Manufacturing Plans and workshop activities.
- Report NCRs, Quality Plans, Welding Dossiers and technical deviations.
- Immediately inform the Home Office Expeditor of delays.
- Propose mitigation actions.
- Issue Expediting Reports (ER) and Flash Reports (ERCL).
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or related fields preferred) is a plus.
- Experience in Expediting, Procurement or Supply Chain within EPC projects.
- 4+ years of experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical or Energy projects.
- Strong experience in workshop inspection and expediting. In particular, static and electrical materials.
- Knowledge of supply chain and vendor management.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication, inspection and testing processes.
- Experience in international projects and multicultural environments.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- English proficiency equivalent to CEFR C1.
- Excellent communication, organizational and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
