- Perform and document mechanical analyses (structural, vibrational, and thermal)
- Interpret and summarize mechanical test results
- Collaborate closely with team members to resolve technical challenges
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical discussions
- Carry out any other related tasks within the scope of the internship
Student in Mechanical Engineering
Skills and Competencies- Basic knowledge of structural, vibrational, and/or thermal/CFD analysis (FEA is an asset)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Curious, creative, and eager to learn
- Proactive attitude, autonomy, and resourcefulness
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong knowledge of strength of materials, vibrations, or thermal/CFD
- Good understanding of electric motor operation
- Programming skills (Python)
- Functional French (spoken and written)
- Functional English (spoken and written)
The internship is primarily on-site, five days per week, totaling 37.5 hours per week. Remote work may be considered occasionally, depending on needs and at the intern’s request. We offer flexible working hours, as well as a morning and evening shuttle service from the Longueuil metro station to facilitate commuting to the Boucherville site.
