My cleint are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen its commercial team based in Pontefract
.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established Senior QS looking to work within a supportive, forward-thinking business delivering a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.

You’ll play a key role in the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with operational teams to ensure successful project delivery and commercial performance.

• Full commercial management of civil engineering projects
• Administration of NEC contracts option B/C
• Cost reporting, forecasting and CVRs
• Procurement and subcontract management
• Variations, valuations and final accounts
• Risk and opportunity management
• Client liaison and stakeholder management
• Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff where required

• Previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts
• Commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Full UK Driving Licence

£70,000 - £75,000 Salary
