System Engineer

DPhi Space is a Swiss startup building the intelligence infrastructure in space by turning satellites into inference servers and connecting space to the cloud on Earth.

The team launched a first demonstrator into space in March 2025 followed by the second one in March 2026. The company is on a track to continue the yearly launch cycle with the next system planned to launch in 2027.

For this mission, we are looking for motivated engineers to join the company.

• Perform mission and spacecraft analysis and simulation
• Spacecraft design and implementation in collaboration with specialized engineers.
• Technical management and lead of customer, agency, and other projects.
• Plan and perform a satellite qualification campaign.
• Mission and launch campaign management.
• Quality control and product assurance.

The roles are open for different levels of seniority. Essential skills include

• The ability to work in a team.
• Experience in spacecraft design techniques and processes for space or adjacent disciplines.
• Experience in rapid prototyping and experimental design verification.
• University or HES degree in any relevant engineering or science field.
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work with evolving constraints.
• Programming and software experience is a plus.
• Language:
  Fluency in English is a must, French is an asset.
