Senior Product Designer

Position: Senior Product Designer - Hybrid Role
Elevate product design at Napoleon as a Senior Product Designer with a hybrid work model. Create innovative concepts, detailed prototypes, and 3D renderings that enhance home comfort worldwide.

This senior role focuses on designing product concepts from inception through mass production. You’ll utilize advanced CAD software, such as Solid Works, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while managing complex projects. Your aim will be to meet technical requirements and launch products on time, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define product concepts considering competitive analysis and design trends

• Create 3D models for prototyping and production readiness

• Validate designs through testing, tolerances, and functional analysis

• Maintain and upgrade existing product line to enhance robustness

• Collaborate closely with the Technology/Engineering Manager during the design phases

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of product design experience using CAD software

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or equivalent

• Familiarity with thermodynamic products like HVAC systems

• Knowledge of PLM software is an asset

• CSWA certification required within onboarding period
