Flight Operations Systems Engineer - Remote to Onsite

Join our leading satellite systems team as a Flight Operations Systems Engineer, based in Montreal. This position starts with a remote work arrangement, transitioning to onsite once relocation is complete.

In this senior role within the System Engineering Department, you will play an integral part in analyzing and planning constellation operations. Your expertise will drive the development of spacecraft operations procedures and the coordination of testing and execution responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform trade-off studies for overall Satellite LEOP design

• Create and oversee the implementation of operation procedures

• Develop comprehensive Satellite Operation Manuals and training

• Establish Verification & Validation Matrices for operations

• Assist with In-Orbit Test and FDIR resolutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering

• At least 10 years of relevant industry experience

• Familiarity with LEO/MEO satellite systems

• Experience in automated operations design and IOT

• Knowledge of Python, STK, and Matlab
