Mining Project Estimator

Position: Mining Project Estimator - Hybrid Role
GMining Services is hiring a Mining Project Estimator to contribute to impactful mining projects. This role allows for hybrid work, providing a flexible environment while focusing on cost estimation and analysis.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be crucial in developing detailed cost estimates that guide major mining projects. Your ability to analyze technical documents and understand economic principles will be essential for delivering accurate CAPEX and OPEX assessments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure estimates adhere to international standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project specifications and reports thoroughly

• Create CAPEX and OPEX estimates for project phases

• Use international standards for estimate structuring

• Prepare comprehensive Basis of Estimate reports

• Support tender document preparation and negotiations

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's in engineering or related fields

• Minimum 5 years' experience in estimating

• Familiarity with advanced Excel and estimation tools

• Bilingual communication skills in French and English

• Experience in international projects is advantageous
