Elevate your career with a hybrid HVAC Electrical Engineer position focused on marine systems. Collaborate with a team to design, test, and troubleshoot essential control systems for large marine vessels.
In this role, reporting to the Automation Controls Director, you will develop technical solutions for HVAC-R systems. Your work will encompass everything from programming PLCs to commissioning equipment. Expertise in AutoCAD Electrical and automation troubleshooting is crucial to support successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on AutoCAD control panel designs
• Program and test PLC and HMI systems
• Lead end-to-end system installation and commissioning
• Provide technical support to Field Engineers
• Update wiring diagrams as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in automation systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical
• Familiarity with PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal)
• Must travel up to 15% as required
