Civil Engineer - Hydropower Projects

Advance your career as a Civil Engineer focused on hydropower and dam safety. This remote role requires in-depth knowledge of dam safety evaluations and structural assessments for North American projects.

You will provide critical support for dam safety inspections and regulatory compliance in hydropower facilities. Engaging with multidisciplinary teams, you will lead risk assessments and identify failure modes while developing strategic recommendations. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage FERC Part 12D inspections and evaluations

• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling analyses

• Analyze structural integrity of dams and associated structures

• Develop recommendations for rehabilitation and improvements

• Prepare technical reports and oversee compliance efforts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering

• Professional Engineer (PEng) license mandatory

• Minimum 8 years of experience in dam engineering

• Strong background in FERC compliance processes

• Familiarity with H&H modeling tools and software
