Bridge Structural Engineer in San Francisco

Join Parsons as a Bridge Structural Design Engineer focusing on transportation projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. This hybrid position allows for remote work 2-3 days per week.

This role requires a strong background in bridge design with at least five years of experience. Candidates will engage in complex tasks including 2D and 3D structural analyses and soil-structure interaction analyses. Your expertise will help develop structural details, construction plans, and geometric layouts using AutoCAD and Microstation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver efficient and accurate bridge design tasks

• Conduct 2D/3D structural analyses and calculations

• Perform soil-structure interaction analyses

• Check designs and calculations produced by others

• Develop structural details and construction plans using AutoCAD

Requirements:

• 5+ years bridge design experience

• BS in Civil Engineering required

• Engineer In Training (EIT) essential

• Proficiency in 2D and 3D finite element analysis

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microstation
