37 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Hybrid: 2 days in the office and 3 days home working

An exciting opportunity for a Nuclear Safety Principal Consultant to support the delivery of nuclear safety projects across a range of nuclear facilities and lifecycle stages. The role will involve producing and reviewing safety documentation, providing technical guidance within multi-disciplinary teams, and supporting clients through various stages of project delivery and governance.

• Producing and reviewing nuclear safety documentation and safety cases
• Ensuring work is delivered to a high technical standard, within agreed deadlines and budgets
• Providing technical oversight, checking, and verification of safety documentation
• Supporting client and stakeholder engagement throughout project delivery
• Assisting with governance and approval processes
• Collaborating with internal teams to support business growth and identify future opportunities

• 8+ years of relevant engineering or nuclear safety experience
• Degree qualified in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline
• Experience developing safety cases within regulated industries
• Ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary teams
• Knowledge of decommissioning, radioactive waste, transport, licensing, human factors, and optioneering
• Permission to work in the UK and willingness to undergo a security vetting process
