Tendering Engineer (66kv-132kv) – Our client, a leader in the power utilities and renewable energy sector, is seeking a permanent Tendering Engineer to join their team. The role focuses on the preparation and submission of high‑quality proposals for power distribution projects, particularly in the 66kv to 132kv range.

Multiple positions available with hybrid or remote working options across South, Midlands, and North of the UK. The role is located within the non‑regulated industry covering BESS, Solar, Industrial, Wind, Data Centre, and Light Rail projects.

• Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals.
• Estimate costs and create comprehensive bid documents.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to gather necessary information.
• Review tender specifications and identify technical requirements.
• Conduct thorough analyses of tender documentation.
• Assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of market trends and competitor activities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Experience preparing and managing proposals within the power utilities or renewable energy sector.
• Strong understanding of power distribution networks, especially in the 66kv to 132kv range.
• Proficiency in cost estimating and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to interpret complex technical documents.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification.

• Pay up to £85k.
• Vehicle allowance or vehicle.
• 2 days holiday plus bank holidays.

• Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.
