Electrical Project Manager

Hamilton / Central Belt Scotland (Hybrid Working)

Permanent | Full Time

£55,000 - £60,000 plus Company Car and Excellent Benefits Package

We are working with a highly reputable and well‑known M&E contractor who deliver complex electrical and mechanical projects across the commercial, industrial and infrastructure sectors.

Due to continued growth and a significant project win, they are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of electrical and M&E projects across Scotland, initially supporting works on a Substation project, with further projects secured thereafter.

This is a hybrid position, ideally suited to someone based around Hamilton and the surrounding area. The role will involve a combination of home working, office attendance and regular site visits. Travel and accommodation expenses are paid where overnight stays are required.

The Role

As Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of electrical and M&E projects from initial survey through to completion and handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Projects will include work on industrial and construction environments including substations, electrical infrastructure, M&E installations, refurbishment schemes, asset replacement projects and low‑fit‑out works.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing the delivery of electrical and M&E projects throughout Scotland.
  • Leading and coordinating site teams, electrical engineers, subcontractors and specialist trades.
  • Overseeing works on a Substation project and future infrastructure projects.
  • Undertaking site surveys and preparing project quotations in line with company procedures.
  • Managing project programmes, labour allocation, procurement and resource planning.
