This opportunity within the Engineering Service Business Unit demands a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a robust background in transient stability and generator modeling. With a focus on conducting thorough simulation studies, you'll be pivotal in preparing reports and collaborating with clients to fulfill industry standards.
Your role will include travel for onsite validations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and prepare test plans for power plants
• Execute power system simulations following NERC guidelines
• Draft comprehensive engineering and analytical reports
• Perform quality peer reviews on technical submissions
• Validate generator models on global site visits
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering required
• Registered Professional Engineer with EGBC or similar
• Five years' experience in power systems
• Expertise in simulation tools and generator modeling
• Valid British Columbia driver’s license with ability to travel
