Location:

Salary: £47,450 per annum

We’re a housing provider in Macclesfield with over 5000 properties across East Cheshire and the surrounding areas. We’re ambitious with plans to build more homes, regenerate local areas and invest in our properties.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Energy and Sustainability Lead to join our Asset and Development team.

Key areas of responsibility include supporting the Asset Manager in the project management of the Trust’s environmental strategy action plan; working collaboratively to embed sustainability into decision-making, asset management, procurement, investment planning, customer engagement, and service delivery; managing stock, energy, and environmental assessments to inform a costed pathway for improving homes; supporting external funding and partnership opportunities; and developing energy and carbon performance data to support evidence-based decisions and performance reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess in depth knowledge of sustainability reporting, energy efficiency standards, decarbonisation, and relevant social housing regulations. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate experience of managing contractors and grant-funded energy programs, writing technical property specifications, and applying solid operational health and safety standards within the building industry.
