You will play a key role in building systems for visualizing cellular dynamics, working closely with scientists to innovate and optimize advanced microscopy tools. A strong background in optical engineering and programming is crucial, making you a vital part of a cutting-edge research initiative. This role includes both onsite and remote work opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement systems for light-sheet microscopy

• Develop control software in Python and integrate with hardware

• Create automated imaging protocols that utilize sensor feedback

• Work alongside scientists to enhance imaging functionalities

• Document system designs and ensure reproducibility

Requirements:

• MS or PhD in Optics, Engineering, or similar

• 5 years of experience designing hardware control systems

• Proficient in Python; C/C++ skills are a plus

• Strong knowledge of electronics and embedded systems

• CAD proficiency and experience with rapid prototyping
