Senior Planner

Wood is looking for a Senior Planner to support our Asset Solutions team on a long-term basis. This role is based at our office in Ellesmere Port and it is anticipated support will be required 3 days a week (24 hours), working primarily from the office with visits to other Wood offices/sites as required. The successful individual should preferably have experience in TARs/Outages and be familiar with tankage planning and maintenance scheduling.

The preparation, review and reporting of accurate project schedules and plans in support of the robust control of projects throughout their lifecycle. Preparation and submission of project schedules and plans, ensuring schedules and plans are prepared to the required level of detail and accuracy in accordance with contractual requirements and Wood & Client policies, procedures, and standards. Supports the management of project schedules and plans, and the preparation and filing of project planning documentation.

May act as the focal point for several project scopes concurrently.

The Asset Solutions Service Line is an exciting and expanding area of our business, providing critical operations services to the energy sector – including duty holder, managed service and TAR delivery – for 10 UK customers. Most of our contracts have been built over long term relationships which has allowed us to extend and re-win contract agreements – our secured pipeline of work is extremely stable for the next 3 years and continually growing.
