Join PHASOR Engineering Inc. as an Intermediate Transmission Line Design Engineer in a hybrid setting. Collaborate with a dynamic team on impactful projects in the utilities sector.
This hybrid role based in Mississauga, Calgary, or Winnipeg offers a chance to engage in the design of overhead and underground power delivery systems. You will utilize your expertise in power transmission lines, supporting both conceptual designs and detailed engineering calculations. This position allows you to guide junior team members while tackling both individual and group projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in designing overhead and underground power systems
• Perform detailed calculations and develop design drawings
• Support Professional Engineers with technical studies
• Provide procurement assistance and material specifications
• Conduct site visits and prepare bids and proposals
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years relevant engineering experience
• Proficient in PLS software suite
• Familiar with industry standards like CSA, IEEE
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
