Reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager, this contract position focuses on managing technical directions for projects at BWXT NEC. You'll engage in system-level design for various fuel handling subsystems, reactor maintenance tooling, and medical isotope systems. The role requires a mix of requirements management, failure modes analysis, and project testing coordination, ensuring high-quality engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage system-level design requirements using formal tools

• Oversee interdisciplinary interface design and scope

• Conduct Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA) with the team

• Support project testing and commissioning initiatives

• Guide evaluations, reports, and assessments for deliverables

Requirements:

• B.A.Sc. in Engineering

• 3 years’ design engineering experience

• Understanding of interdisciplinary systems design

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Capable of remote work and short-term travel
