Position: Contract Materials Lab Technician Role
Join TULLOCH as a Materials Testing Lab Technician focused on mining and civil projects based in Timmins, ON. Embrace a remote work culture with a 2-week-on, 2-week-off schedule.

This role involves hands-on materials testing, including soil sampling and lab analysis, within strict quality standards. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you'll support mining and infrastructure projects while gaining extensive experience in civil engineering principles. This is a contract position offering competitive pay and robust team camaraderie.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site tests and soil sampling for materials

• Carry out laboratory testing of soil and concrete

• Perform inspections for QC & QA compliance

• Oversee material quantity controls and reporting

• Utilize nuclear densometers for compaction tests

Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil or Mining Engineering or equivalent

• 5+ years experience in construction or surveying

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong focus on safety and risk management

• Willingness to work in remote locations
