As Hook-up Engineer E&I, you will respond/report to the Hook-up Manager and be part of our company’s various project

Mission
Coordinate and supervise all engineering activities related to Hook-up E&I.
Provide Hook-up expertise during the bid phase
, project preparatory phases (Home Office and Yard) and offshore execution phase
, for all engineering activities related to Hook-up E&I.
Ensure effective interfaces with Fabrication yards (internal or external) and Transportation & Installation (T&I) for scope definition and management of carry-over works, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective offshore execution.
Tasks- Propose engineering solutions aimed at identifying optimized configurations for transportation and installation using the available marine spread, minimizing offshore Hook-ups and improving construction sequences and methodologies
- Provide Hook-up E&I inputs to engineering reviews (Constructability, 3D Model Reviews, HAZID, etc.)
- Participate in the execution of Hook-up engineering activities, including identification of multidisciplinary Hook-up scope, preparation of Hook-up procedures, and compilation of discipline Work Packages
- Perform technical activities related to drawings, MTOs, job cards, constructability reviews, and engineering studies
- Liaise with Hook-up Planning and Control Analyst for the preparation of Hook-up Job Cards, in line with construction, installation, and commissioning plans
- Participate in the preparation of multi-disciplinary Hook-up procedures
- Prepare the Hook-up project deliverables list and ensure documents and procedures are developed, reviewed, and issued accordingly
- Define subcontract scopes of work and support the preparation of Technical Bid Evaluations related to Hook-up activities
- Prepare marine spread specifications and follow up relevant bids
- Ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective marine spread scheduling
- Verify, through dedicated surveys, the suitability of vessels to safely and efficiently support Hook-up activities, ensuring steady manpower and material supply offshore
- Ensure correct interfaces with other project functions during Hook-up engineering activities
- Collect red mark-up engineering documentation at site to support As-Built drawings preparation
- Support the Hook-up Manager by ensuring proper follow-up of Hook-up engineering activities from Home Office, Yard, or Site, including updates to Job Cards as required
- Supervise the analysis of Hook-up requirements related to Welding, Piping, Coating, and Quality Control, ensuring implementation of any special requirements ahead of offshore campaigns
- Engineering Degree, preferably in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) or related engineering discipline
- Minimum 8 years of Oil & Gas experience as Hook-up Engineer E&I
- Proven experience supporting Hook-up activities throughout bid, engineering, yard, and offshore phases
- Experience interfacing with Fabrication yards, T&I contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Familiarity with offshore construction, Hook-up methodologies, and EPCI project execution
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work effectively within multinational project teams
