Electrical Design Engineer

You will be joining a well‑established, national construction consultancy, founded in the early 1960s, with a strong reputation across Project Management, Cost Consultancy, MEP Engineering and Sustainability. The business prides itself on hands‑on Director involvement on every project, creating clear accountability, strong client relationships and consistently high standards. As a Junior to Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer, you will support the delivery of electrical building services designs across a varied national project portfolio. Working closely with Senior Engineers and Directors, you will gain exposure to the full project lifecycle – from early concept design through to detailed design and construction. Projects span large‑scale leisure and destination developments, as well as commercial, mixed‑use and public‑sector work, with a strong emphasis on long‑term, repeat‑client relationships.

• Assist in the production of electrical building services designs
• Support calculations, layouts, schematics and technical documentation
• Develop knowledge of relevant British Standards and design practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across projects
• Contribute to project delivery while developing technical capability
• Build confidence in client and stakeholder interaction

• Experience as an Electrical Design Engineer within a building services consultancy
