Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional Lead Member of Technical Staff Logic Design Engineer to join our Silicon IP team in Vught part of the Security Business Unit of Rambus. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.
As a Lead Member of Technical Staff Logic Design Engineer, the candidate will be reporting to the Director of R&D Silicon IP and is a Full-Time position.
The Lead Member of Technical Staff Logic Design Engineer has an in-depth knowledge of embedded hardware development & tools, cryptography, security protocols and security implementations.
Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for the majority of our office-based roles. We encourage employees to spend an average of at least three days per week working onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.
Responsibilities
Design and implementation of complex secure silicon IP’s
Planning: lead other digital designers, manage projects, estimate cost (effort)
Architecture:
Design block specification, documentation, have/encourage innovativeideas/patents for current and future products
Implementation: RTL design, lint, clock domain crossing (CDC) analysis, synthesis, IPrelease
Verification: work with verification team on planning and execution, simulation,debugging simulations, formal verification, preparation of technical reviews and product documentation
Flow and methodology: work in a dynamic and interdisciplinary R&D group thatinfluences and guides Rambus’ technical direction by understanding and contributing toflow and methodology development
Interact with technical leaders of the company and senior staff in engineering, product management, sales and FAE’s to help ensure successful development of high valueproducts
Qualifications
Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in Hardware Engineering, Computing Science or comparable level
Eight or more years of experience in the security or chip industry in relevant engineeringpositions at R&D centers or system laboratories
In depth knowledge of SoC, Silicon IP and/or FPGA logic design flows
In depth knowledge of hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL, System Verilog) and scripting languages
Strong written and verbal communication skills:
Ability to explain complex concepts infront of technical audience
Good documentation skills, both in text and drawings
Beneficial Experience
Familiarity with IP integration, IP core delivery, and handoff issues
Ability to work with technical writers in the production of technical documentation
In depth knowledge of cryptography, security protocols and security implementations
Knowledge of PCIe IDE standard
