Hi Transformer expert!
If you enjoy solving technical challenges, aligning complex projects with customer expectations, and working in a high-energy team, this role is for you!
What you'll do?
Visit external suppliers for Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), ensuring compliance with specifications while also addressing any concerns.
On certain days, you may spend your time reviewing project requirements for transformers, analyzing technical designs, and performing dimensioning calculations.
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to refine project specifications or troubleshoot unexpected challenges that arise during production or installation.
Write or review technical submittals, ensuring project requirements and quality standards are documented accurately.
Coordinate with procurement teams to identify the best‑suited suppliers and support their smooth integration into the supply chain.
On‑site or remote problem‑solving, helping with installation and commissioning activities, while working closely with quality assurance teams.
What else can you expect?
Every day will bring new opportunities for growth and exploring technical solutions. Some days may involve:
Participating in audits for new suppliers and ensuring their adherence to Siemens' quality standards.
Managing the production schedule by coordinating the organization of tests, inspections, and commercial issues related to varying production demands.
Tracking the performance of suppliers and addressing any obstacles that may affect smooth execution.
Preparing test documentation, reports, and sharing them with stakeholders.
Your success is grounded in
A completed bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently across teams.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken);
Dutch is a plus.
A flexible and result‑oriented mindset to meet deadlines in challenging environments.
Willingness to travel frequently (short trips required 50%–75% of the time); possession of a EU‑passport and a valid driver’s license.
Attention to detail and the ability to critically evaluate complex systems.
Additional qualifications that set you apart
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, particularly with oil and dry‑type insulation transformers.
Practical experience in dimensioning, FATs, and preparing technical transformer specifications.
Familiarity with industry standards such as IEC 60076, IEC 60721, and ISO 9001.
Our offer
Here at Siemens, we aim to support your growth and overall well‑being. When you join us, you can count on:

An annual Euro 150 health budget for personal wellness (e.g., fitness, nutrition, relaxation).
Participation opportunities in programs like Young Siemens, a buddy system, and a share program.
Ample room for development, with regular conversations focused on your growth and future aspirations.
