BMS Engineer

Location: Northern Ireland

An established technology business specialising in cloud-based IoT, energy management and building automation solutions is seeking an experienced Trend BMS Engineer. The organisations award-winning technology helps customers reduce energy consumption, improve building performance and achieve carbon-reduction targets. The successful candidate will manage and maintain Trend building management systems, configure IQ Vision and provide technical support to customers and internal teams.

Whats on offer Salary of up to £60,000 Fully remote working Candidates must be based in Northern Ireland Excellent career progression and professional development opportunities Opportunities to broaden your knowledge of other control systems and programming languages Benefits package including pension and life assurance What you need Strong professional experience working with Trend BMS systems Experience configuring, managing and maintaining IQ Vision Practical experience using SET to maintain Trend BMS environments Ability to export and integrate data from Trend into other systems Working knowledge of HVAC systems and associated controls Understanding of building automation protocols and technologies Exposure to Tridium, EDPAC, Modbus or BACnet would be advantageous Experience analysing system performance, identifying faults and implementing improvements Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach Ability to work effectively with technical teams, operational colleagues and external stakeholders Previous experience in a fast-paced facilities management or similar environment would be beneficial
