In this key role, you'll coordinate engineering activities for large substation projects. Your responsibilities include developing schedules, ensuring safety in design, and overseeing risk management and quality assurance. You'll work closely with both internal and external teams to maintain project specifications and schedules while directing engineers and designers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engineering activities including schedule and design safety
• Execute full HV physical design of substations
• Direct engineers and coordinate technical project matters
• Create power single line and elevation drawings
• Manage BOMs and write equipment specifications
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Engineering, BSEE preferred
• Professional Engineering license in Canada
• 10+ years in substation engineering for utilities
• Understanding of GIS/AIS substations and North American standards
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
