Adecco is currently hiring a Project Lead - Construction Surveying for a remote opportunity. This role is ideal for an experienced construction surveying professional with a strong background in geomatics, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and engineering surveys who enjoys leading projects, collaborating with clients, and delivering high-quality technical solutions.
In this position, you will oversee construction surveying projects, prepare technical deliverables, perform calculations, support field teams, and provide expert guidance while maintaining strong client relationships in a remote work environment.
  • Pay Rate: $120,000/year
  • Location: Edmonton, AB | Remote
  • Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible schedule based on project requirements
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities
  • Prepare as-built and redline plans for construction surveys, including piles, topographic surveys, material cut/fill calculations, and pipelines.
  • Perform calculations for piles, anchor bolts, foundations, and other construction-related requirements.
  • Design and calculate quantities using AutoCAD Civil 3D with multi-layered surfaces.
  • Produce accurate, professional deliverables that meet client and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with field crews and project leads to understand project requirements and deliver efficient solutions.
  • Communicate directly with clients to provide technical solutions and exceptional customer service.
  • Perform quality control reviews on field data, calculations, and drawings.
  • Interpret and apply engineering and construction IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings.
  • Maintain knowledge of land surveying principles and Western Canadian land tenure systems.
  • Manage projects independently within a remote virtual work environment.
  • Provide on-call support for evening or weekend field emergencies when required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute technical expertise to project delivery.
Qualifications
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Diploma or degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction and engineering surveying.
  • Strong experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and field-to-finish workflows.
  • Experience supporting industrial, commercial, and infrastructure construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction survey principles and technical documentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Exceptional communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
