Position: Mechanical Project Manager at Remote Robotic Systems
Lead advanced aircraft development at Remote Robotic Systems as a Mechanical Project Manager in Kanata, Ontario. Manage complex engineering projects with a focus on aerospace and uncrewed systems.

In this full-time role, you’ll bring structure and coordination to the engineering program for our next-generation aircraft. You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including aerodynamics and electrical engineers, ensuring all project aspects stay aligned and focused on delivering flight-ready hardware. Your leadership will be critical to managing schedules, risks, and project deliverables in this dynamic defense-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own program schedules and critical path activities

• Build and maintain engineering processes for aircraft development

• Coordinate efforts across diverse engineering teams

• Lead design reviews and program decision-making sessions

• Manage relationships with suppliers and external partners

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering

• Leadership experience in UAV or complex engineering programs

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing

• Proven project management skills in fast-paced settings

• Experience in fostering a high-performing engineering culture
