Experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer GTA

Advance your career as a Fire Sprinkler Designer with a prominent engineering firm in the Greater Toronto Area.

This role offers a hybrid working model, blending remote work with site visits to enhance project delivery.
You will leverage your fire safety design experience to support a variety of commercial and residential projects. With strong technical skills and excellent independence, you will manage design tasks from conception to execution, ensuring compliance with the Ontario Building Code and associated standards.

Your role includes coordinating with clients and fellow engineers to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and layout fire sprinkler and standpipe systems

• Utilize AutoCAD and HydraCAD for construction documentation

• Perform site inspections and data acquisition

• Ensure compliance with NFPA and Ontario Fire Codes

• Maintain communication with clients and contractors
Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in fire sprinkler design

• Proficient in emergency fire protection codes and software

• Excellent communication and relationship management skills

• Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license and vehicle access

• Residency within the Greater Toronto Area
