Role & Responsibilities Lead small to medium sized fire engineering projects with structured support from senior project management teams
Facilitate design workshops and technical meetings to develop compliant and efficient fire safety solutions
Prepare detailed fire strategies and retrospective assessments for existing and new developments
Produce technical fire engineering reports that support regulatory approvals and design validation processes
Review subcontractor technical submissions to ensure alignment with project fire safety objectives and standards
Manage technical queries from clients and design teams across multiple concurrent project assignments
Contribute to fire dynamics analysis covering smoke movement, heat transfer, and occupant safety considerations
Attend site inspections to observe construction compliance and support practical implementation of fire strategies
Skills & Experience Required Engineering Council accredited BEng Hons or equivalent qualification within fire engineering or related discipline
Minimum Associate membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers or working towards chartered status
Proven experience delivering fire engineering solutions across UK based construction projects and developments
Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation, building regulations, and recognised design guidance documents
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy under strict deadlines
Competence in technical reporting, analysis tools, and fire modelling methodologies used within consultancy environments
Strong communication skills to engage with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams effectively
Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for site visits and project related travel requirements
Salary & Benefits Salary range of 35,000 to 60,000 depending on experience and level of responsibility
