As a Senior / Principal Geo-Environmental Consultant, you'll play a key role in delivering technically robust and commercially valuable solutions across a diverse portfolio of flagship projects.
You'll lead and support land quality and contamination assessments from initial investigation through to remediation, helping clients navigate environmental challenges with confidence. Beyond project delivery, you'll influence the development of our technical capability, mentor colleagues, and contribute to a culture built on safety, collaboration, and innovation.
Working alongside more than 70 contamination specialists across the UK, Ireland, and Europe, you'll help deliver solutions that make a real difference for our clients, communities, and the environment.

In this role, you'll lead and contribute to geo-environmental projects across all stages of contamination assessment and remediation.
You'll- Deliver and oversee Phase 1 desk studies, Phase 2 site investigations, interpretive assessments, and remediation projects
- Develop land quality and remediation strategies for multidisciplinary projects
- Prepare high-quality technical reports for clients, regulators, and planning authorities
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to colleagues
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and project stakeholders
- Ensure projects meet environmental, planning, and regulatory requirements
- Stay at the forefront of industry developments, including emerging contaminants and evolving best practice
- Champion safe delivery and promote a positive safety culture across projects
This is a full-time position based on a 40-hour working week. We encourage our team members to spend at least 50% of their working time in an office or on site to support collaboration, learning, and client delivery.
Here's what you'll needWe're looking for someone who brings:
- A degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related discipline (Master's degree desirable)
- Significant geo-environmental consultancy experience across contamination assessment and land quality projects
- Experience delivering and leading intrusive site investigations, monitoring, and sampling programmes
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, contaminated land risk assessment, and guidance including LCRM, EPA Ireland guidance, BS10175, ASTM due diligence assessments, and EIA Soils & Geology reporting
- A sound understanding of emerging contaminants, including PFAS
- Strong technical reporting and data interpretation skills
- Chartered status or progress towards Chartership
- The ability to build effective relationships with clients, regulators, and multidisciplinary teams
