Become a part of Edmonton Structural Engineers as a Residential Structural Engineer (P.Eng). This full-time hybrid opportunity combines remote work with local project inspections in the Greater Edmonton Area.

We are seeking a self-motivated engineer, either intermediate or senior level, with a strong background in residential structural analysis, load-bearing wall design, and project management.

Your role will involve direct interaction with clients and contractors, providing clear guidance and ensuring compliance with Alberta building standards. This impactful position supports homeowners through effective engineering solutions and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive structural inspections and assessments

• Complete engineering calculations for residential projects

• Collaborate with contractors on renovations and modifications

• Create permit-ready structural drawings via CAD

• Evaluate foundations and design necessary repairs

Requirements:

• P.Eng registration in Alberta or eligibility

• 3 to 10 years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of wood-frame construction

• Strong communication skills with clients

• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
