Expert Senior Estimator for Infrastructure Projects

Location: Greater Sudbury

Stantec seeks an Expert Senior Estimator with a focus on complex infrastructure projects, including hydropower and water systems. Experience the balance of remote work and office collaboration.

As a Senior Estimator, you'll manage multifaceted cost estimates for expansive projects, facilitating successful outcomes from approximately $1 million to $2 billion.

Your role will involve leading estimating teams, validating project designs, and ensuring quality standards. A strong background in both water treatment and mechanical estimating will enable you to excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates and schedules

• Lead coordination between various estimating disciplines

• Review design documents for estimate risk management

• Establish site-specific estimating criteria and benchmarks

• Conduct quality control of construction documents

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in estimating

• Strong background in hydraulic and water infrastructure

• Familiarity with project scheduling software

• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities
