Design Engineer (Industrial Product Labels

Duration: 1 year (Contract)

To strengthen the international team in the field of packaging labels, we are looking for a committed and quality-conscious individual as a design engineer for our client in Zug .

In this role, you will make a lasting contribution to clients change management processes. Your main responsibilities will include revising and maintaining packaging labels and nameplates, as well as managing clients design data in Siemens Teamcenter to support various departments and locations.

On-site presence is required during the initial training period (approx. 6 months). After that, a maximum of 2 days of working from home per week is possible by arrangement.

• Change Management:
  Implementation of change processes with a focus on packaging labels, nameplates, and general maintenance work in the construction area.
• Data maintenance:
  Careful maintenance, updating and management of technical data and models in the PLM system (Siemens Teamcenter).
• Interdisciplinary collaboration:
  Active support and cooperation with interface teams and other international locations.
• Quality assurance:
  Ensuring precise and structured documentation of all label and data adjustments.

• Education:
  
  Completed vocational training as a design engineer or a comparable technical qualification.
• Software skills:
  Sound and reliable knowledge of NX-CAD , Corel Draw and Siemens Teamcenter .
• Experience:
  
  Both experienced professionals and motivated junior profiles are welcome , provided they have a solid command of the required tools.
• Language skills:
  Very good German skills, both spoken and written;
  English skills are an advantage.
• Work style & personality:
  Meticulous, solution-oriented and independent work style as well as reliable communication and strong teamwork skills.

Specific experience:
Initial practical experience in the field of marking technology (labels, nameplates, packaging graphics) is a plus.
