As a Geospatial Consultant, you'll contribute to a wide range of single and multi-disciplinary projects, providing GIS expertise to colleagues and clients across the business. Working with industry-leading ESRI technologies, you'll transform spatial data into meaningful insights, develop innovative GIS applications, and support the delivery of technically complex projects across multiple sectors.
Your Impact in this Position
You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality geospatial solutions by analysing and managing spatial data, producing mapping and reporting outputs, and developing applications using tools such as Survey
123, Dashboards and Insights. You'll help improve the way GIS technology is used across the business, supporting project teams, enhancing efficiencies, and delivering valuable outcomes for clients.
Core Capabilities

  • Produce high-quality mapping, spatial analysis and data visualisations using the ESRI platform.
  • Prepare, manage and maintain spatial datasets for a variety of technical projects.

Data Management

  • Source, validate and interpret spatial data, including UK environmental and Ordnance Survey datasets.
  • Deliver clear reports and graphics that enable informed decision-making.

Technical Innovation

  • Develop GIS applications using Survey
    123, Dashboards and Insights.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements and the adoption of new geospatial technologies.

Project Delivery

  • Support multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work to agreed timescales.
  • Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams and with clients.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to both GIS and non-GIS audiences.

Training, Qualifications & Experience
You'll have a degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience), with strong knowledge of ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Survey
123 and Field Maps.

Experience with Utility Network, ArcGIS Enterprise, FME, AutoCAD, Python (Arc Py) or ESRI extensions would be advantageous. You must also be eligible to obtain UK security clearance.
Working Environment
This role can be based from our Bristol, Manchester or Southampton office. You'll work as part of a collaborative hybrid team, with a blend of office and home working to support both project delivery and work-life balance. Standard Tetra Tech flexible working arrangements, benefits and inclusion information will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
