Are you a recent graduate with a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree and a genuine interest in sustainable building design?
We are recruiting for a Graduate Sustainable Mechanical & Electrical Services Engineer (Building Services Engineer) to join a leading independent sustainability and engineering consultancy, based in Cornwall.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate looking to start their career within the building services sector, working on innovative and sustainable projects alongside experienced engineers and sustainability specialists.
The role operates on a hybrid working basis, combining time in the Cornwall office with remote working.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the design and delivery of sustainable mechanical and electrical building services.
Working alongside experienced engineers across a range of exciting projects.
Developing your technical knowledge and understanding of building services.
Assisting with energy-efficient and low-carbon design solutions.
Supporting calculations, technical reports, specifications and design documentation.
Working collaboratively with other engineering and sustainability teams.
Developing your understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is essential.
Recent graduate or due to graduate with a genuine interest in building services.
Strong interest in sustainability, energy efficiency and low-carbon building design.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Enthusiastic, motivated and keen to develop a long-term career in building services engineering.
Previous placement or industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
