We are looking for a Senior Manager Process Optimization & Food Innovation to lead a team focused on developing and testing advanced process solutions for industries such as Food, Environment, Chemical, and Mining & Minerals. In this role, you will help shape sustainable processes that meet the growing global demand.

Overview
As the Head of this center, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing pilot tests and application trials. You will guide your team to deliver practical, high-impact solutions, stay on top of industry trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies that expand innovative process capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and process specialists.

Support customers and internal teams with process development, both on-site and in the pilot plant.

Translate pilot results into actionable improvements in customer operations.

Serve as a technical ambassador at industry events and client meetings.

Ensure projects meet timelines, quality standards, and performance expectations.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop tailored process solutions.

Who We Are Looking For

Proven leadership experience in the food or protein production sector (5+ years preferred).

Background in process engineering or food technology (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).

Experience in protein processing is a plus.

Based in the Netherlands.

Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Hands-on, solution-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset.

Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch, German, or French is an advantage.
