About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Industrial Automation Engineer to join their innovative team. This position offers the unique opportunity to work from anywhere, focusing on the design, development, and implementation of automated control systems for manufacturing and industrial processes. You will collaborate closely with on-site teams and international clients, leveraging your expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, and robotics to drive efficiency and performance.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of managing projects effectively in a distributed work environment.
- Design, program, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for industrial automation systems.
- Develop and implement robotics solutions to enhance production efficiency and safety.
- Integrate various automation components, sensors, and control systems.
- Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for deployed automation solutions.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project requirements and scope.
- Document automation system designs, configurations, and operating procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering.
- Proficiency in programming various PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI software.
- Experience with robotics integration and industrial communication protocols.
- Strong understanding of SCADA systems and data acquisition.
- Excellent remote communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
