About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Systems Integration Engineer to join their fully remote engineering team. This role is critical for ensuring the seamless integration of various mechanical components and subsystems into cohesive, high-performing systems. You will play a key role in defining system architectures, developing integration strategies, and verifying system functionality. Working within a distributed team, you will leverage your expertise to overcome complex integration challenges and contribute to the successful delivery of sophisticated mechanical solutions.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to manage integration projects remotely.

• Define and document mechanical system architectures and integration plans.
• Oversee the integration of mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and systems, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
• Develop and execute system-level testing procedures to verify functionality and identify integration issues.
• Collaborate with mechanical design engineers, electrical engineers, and software developers to resolve integration challenges.
• Perform root cause analysis for system-level failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, test results, and integration processes.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical systems engineering, with a strong focus on integration.
• Proven experience in integrating complex mechanical assemblies and systems.
• Familiarity with system dynamics , control systems, and mechatronics.
• Experience with testing and validation methodologies at the system level.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, particularly in a remote environment.
